In 2008 – 2009 high school students in Montana and New Hampshire began to research the story of one family’s journey west. The students explored historic places and lifeways, tracked down documents in their communities, and shared their photos, questions, and stories through a blog and a website. This website brings together their research and the stories of their discovery.
